Taylor grew up in western Kentucky on her family's row crop and cattle operation, where she spent her summers riding the tobacco setter, mowing the yard, bottle feeding calves, and doing just about anything else that needed to be done. She learned early that working hard, being outside in less-than-ideal conditions, and simply getting the job done was how you kept things moving forward.

She's also a third-generation horsewoman. Her mother and grandmother showed Tennessee Walking Horses throughout the 1970s and '80s, and together they introduced Taylor to horses when she was six years old. Unfortunately for Taylor's dad, that first ride on Buttercup in the backyard led to a 15-year barrel racing adventure. Her mother still hasn't fully recovered.

The short version? Taylor fell in love with horses more than 30 years ago and has turned that passion into a career.

About Taylor Gross

That journey took an unexpected turn after attending her first Kentucky Derby in 2014, where she watched California Chrome win the Run for the Roses from the infield. Soon afterward, she picked up a camera and couldn't put it down.

By 2015, she had joined the marketing team at RFD-TV in Nashville, where photography quickly became part of her everyday work. Three years later, an opportunity at Taylor Made Farm brought her two passions together: horses and photography. One of her first Thoroughbred photographs was published in the Thoroughbred Daily News. What started as a marketing role quickly evolved into a career behind the camera, focused on helping horses make their strongest possible first impression.

Over the years, Taylor has worked alongside consignors, breeders, sales teams, horsemen, and advertisers throughout the Thoroughbred industry, developing a unique understanding of what buyers notice and what sellers need.

Today, TG EquiVisuals serves farms and consignors across the country, delivering photography and video designed to showcase horses at their highest potential while making the process seamless for clients.
